How to easily change the strap on watches? We have a simple guide for you! ⌚ 🛠
Exchange strap Changing the watch strap may sound like a complicated task, but with our guide, anyone can do it in just a few minutes. Whether you need to replace a worn strap, try out our new Velcro strap, or simply refresh your watch with a new style, the process is easy and can be done in the comfort of your home.
What will you need?
- Strap exchange tool (spring bar tool) or small flat screwdriver
- New strap compatible with Findee Kids watches (you can purchase on our online store here)
How to do it? 👇
1. Prepare your watch: Place it on a soft surface, such as a cloth, to avoid scratching the glass.
2. Find the pin: The strap is held in place by a pin. It is inserted into small notches on the watch case. Press on the strap with your finger to expose the pin.
3. Release the strap: Use a replacement tool or screwdriver and gently press on the pin to release it from the watch. Then simply remove the strap. Repeat this step on both sides of the watch.
4. Attach the new strap: If your new strap does not have its own pins, move them from the old strap. Place one end of the pin into the notch, gently push the other end using a tool until it clicks into place. Do the same on the other side.
5. Check the attachment: Gently pull on both ends of the strap to ensure everything is securely held.
And what if the new strap is too long? ✂️
